“Ci sono sedie e sedie. Ci sono sedie che, per il loro stretto rapporto con la figura umana che devono accogliere, si legano a tal punto al vissuto di una persona da trasformare il loro status di oggetto fino a toccare un bizzarro scenario metafisico in cui la sedia in questione si espande oltre ai consueti limiti, diventando essa stessa un corpo pensante in un mondo oggettificato talmente fuori controllo da oltrepassare tutti i tentativi di concettualizzarlo e dominarlo”
Porta una sedia usata, dimenticata o abbandonata presso il forum di Omegna accompagnata da un testo che ne riveli storia e ricordi, diverrà parte attiva dell’installazione urbana.

Bring a used, forgotten or abandoned chair to the “Forum di Omegna” together with a text that reveals its history and memories, that way it will become an active part of the urban installation.

…un colorato percorso storiografico per riscoprire luoghi e personaggi che hanno fatto crescere la town fino a renderla un centro in cui si mescolano tradizioni radicate a una vibrante modernità.

La bravissima grafica illustratrice Clao sarà tra i guests dell’evento, parteciperà al toy lamp show e sarà autrice di una delle “invasioni espositive” che potrete trovare sparse tra le vie della town! YEP

The highly talented graphic designer Clao will be part of the contest, will participate to the toy lamp show and will be creator of one of the “exposition invasion” that you will find throughout the streets of the city! YEP

Esistono in ognuno di noi stanze della memoria ben illuminate e abitate, altre apparentemente buie e chiuse per sempre. Facile pensare che nell’anziano le stanze sul corridoio della memoria siano già tutte chiuse! Ma con un poco di volontà e fantasia i ricordi si possono rianimare e aria e luce possono rientrare nelle stanze.
Si è appena concluso il laboratorio creativo svolto con gli ospiti della Casa dell’Anziano Massimo Lagostina. Durante PupsInTown la loro sede ospiterà una mostra che racconterà il percorso tramite manufatti, video, voci e parole.

Memory rooms
In each of us there are memory rooms that are very well lit and lived in, whilst others are apparently dark and closed for ever. It’s easy to think that in the rooms in the corridor of memory of the older person are already shut! But with a small effort and imagination, memories can be reanimated and air and light can enter these rooms again.
The creative laboratory event of the Old People’s Home “Massimo Lagostina” has just been ended. During PupsInTown their site will host an exhibition that tells their path through creations, videos, voices and words.

Un Percorso tra appunti, spunti, sketch, pensieri, dubbi, immagini, emozioni la cui lettura, visione e percezione permette una graduale conoscenza della materia, della forma e dei sensi, più o meno manifesti, che hanno accompagnato la nascita dei pups.it.
Dall’iniziale ricerca ed esplorazione della character culture, ai primissimi prototipi sino allo sviluppo del concetto/progetto di design e alla sua manifestazione fisica trasversale.

The “Forum di Omegna” will host an exhibition solely dedicated to pups.it. A Path between notes, inspirations, sketches, thoughts, doubts, images, emotions which reading, vision and perception gives a gradual knowledge of the matter, the form and the senses, more or less manifested, that have accompanied the birth of pups.it.
From the initial research and exploration of character culture, from the very first prototypes till the development of the concept/project of design and its physical all around manifestation.

Bambi&Pasticcino saranno tra i partecipanti d’eccezione al Toylamp Contest e protagonisti di un’ intervento d’autore in una delle locations in town. stay sweet.

“Vota Boris” perchè Boris è il Pups più portato a ricoprire un ruolo di leadership.
Proporrà dei cambiamenti strutturali, sociali, relazionali e ambientali della città ma da un suo particolare punto vista, puro e al contempo egocentrico e megalomane ( caratteristiche che ogni bambino inconsapevolmente possiede).
Come ogni leader che si rispetti Boris terrà un comizio dal balcone del suo Palazzo , all’interno del quale accoglierà, attraverso installazioni, immagini, modellini, video proiezioni , chiunque voglia approfondire e scoprire il nuovo sistema che egli propone.

“Vote Boris” because Boris is the best Pups to be a leader. He will suggest structural, social, relational and environmental changes for the city but from his special point of view, which is pure but at the same time self-centred and megalomaniac (features that every child possesses without knowing it).

Benjamin Pancakes aka Elkie sarà tra i protagonisti del Toy Lamp Contest. Il suo mondo inoltre invaderà/ri.animerà una delle location espositive in town.

Benjamin Pancakes aka Elkie will be one of the protagonist of the ToyLamp contest. His world will invade even on location of the Expo tour in town.

Installazioni, video, tele, immagini animeranno numerose locations urbane contribuendo a una diffusa e diversificata rappresentazione della matrice artistico-espressiva della mani-festa-azione pupsiana. A settembre la mappa e dettagli.

In collaborazione con ModuloLEM , PupsInTown promuove una minimega rassegna cinematrografica “corpi e anime”, un viaggio all’interno della cultura orientale contemporanea attraverso il linguaggio degli ANIME, l’espressione più popolare e veritiera della civiltà giapponese in cui convivono e s’intrecciano tradizioni e avanguardie.
